Classes & Energy Modalities 

Yoga:  props such as blankets, bolsters, chairs, straps, and blocks are available in all of our classes to support the body and meet the varied alignment and unique needs of each student.

  • Beginner Series: a great choice for starting your practice and refreshing the basics    

  • Breathe & Align: is a traditional Hatha flow yoga class where we move at a slow-to-moderate pace through postures using the powerful tool of our breath to allow time for exploration in the body, mind and emotions.

  • Chair: is for any-body, especially students that find traditional classes less accessible to their bodies. In this class, the poses will be done with the use of a chair to support the varied abilities and unique needs of each student. Breathing and meditation exercises are also included.

  • Flow: this class uses the breath as the guide to flow in and out of different poses at a moderate pace. 

  • Gentle: is a supportive class designed to be accessible to all types of students at any experience level. It is offered at a softer, relaxed and slower pace.

  • Restorative:  is known for its relaxing, calming and healing effects. This class moves at a slower pace where poses are held for longer periods of time. Restorative yoga stimulates the parasympathetic nervous system, which slows the heart rate, regulates blood pressure and relaxes the body.

  • Slow Flow: this class uses the breath as the guide to flow in and out of different poses at a slow pace.

  • Yin: is a quiet contemplative practice accessible to all students. It works deeply in the body through the use of passive, longer-held, floor poses. These poses target the connective tissues - ligaments, joints, bones and the deep fascia networks of the body which improve energy flow in the organs.
